##How qualified is an Osteopath?Osteopaths are highly trained health professionals. There is currently no training available for Osteopaths in South Africa. Osteopaths are required to complete 4-5 years of University training; comprising of either a Bachelors degree or Masters degree. Osteopaths are required to be registered by the Allied Health Professionals Council of South Africa. Osteopaths worldwide are required to complete 25 hours of Continued Professional Development (CPD) each year.
