
Dr Guy Ashburner
BSc(Hons)Ost(U.K.), D.P.O.(U.K),
Guy is a registered osteopath who emigrated from the United Kingdom to Cape Town, South Africa in 2006.
Before graduating from the British School of Osteopathy, Guy qualified and worked as a personal trainer in Kensington, London.
It was his interest in babies, children and cranial osteopathy that led him to complete a Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy at the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy in London, whereafter he worked as a clinical tutor and osteopath. The Foundation, of which Guy is a registered alumni member, is renowned for its specialist treatment, quality care and education.
Guy established his Constantia practice in 2006. Osteopathy Cape Town South Africa embraces holistic osteopathic principles with focused rehabilitation for people of all ages.
Dr. Lizanne Jansen van VuurenLizanne graduated from the British School of Osteopathy with a Masters degree in Osteopathy, and is registered with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa.
Lizanne has gained valuable experience having worked and trained in clinics specialising in care for athletes, children, expectant mothers, the elderly and persons living with aids. Lizanne integrates a variety of osteopathic techniques such as structural, cranio-sacral and visceral in order to adapt each treatment to the patient’s individual needs.
Originally from South Africa, Lizanne returned back in 2010 after living in the UK for most of her life. She is currently also involved in a charity treating children and their families in the townships around Cape Town.
